Taking the spirit of acid-jazz and soul, Krystal Hardwick, emerges from the Peace Uv Mine camp in Houston, Texas, with her new CD, The Tale of Two Fish. Her sound is reminiscent of a mix between Skye Edwards (Morcheeba), Corinne Bailey Rae, and Sia. The musical mood starts with the midday sunshine of “Fresh Out Of Water”, and grows introspective like evening as the songs progress, with the tracks, “Mr. Mulatto” and “Love, Me” being the most personal and lengthy of the set. This tale could synonymous with the nature of the Piscean, the poets and dreamers of zodiac lore.
