Infectious rhythms mark this compilation of artists including London’s own, Reel People, plus BTSC, Choklate, Simon Grey, Renn, and Restless Soul Fun Band. For this reviewer, the project gets started with the track, “Sure” and the Stevie Wonder classic, “Golden Lady” is given a nice Brazilian flavor. Choklate serves up “The Tea” with some nu-disco flavor. Reel People also serves up some live studio cuts which bring the slows the pace a bit a bit. Overall, while the production sounds tight, I wish the melodies on the songs were just as memorable and compelling.
