TuneCrush: Death Cab for Cutie “Doors Unlocked and Open [Cut/Copy Remix]”

Two of my favorite bands got together and had a remix baby that combines the best parts of each band; Death Cab for Cutie brought the poetry and Ben Gibbard’s silken, matter-of-fact tones, while Cut/Copy contributed their signature electronica and danceable beat. Together they make the song, “Doors Unlocked and Open”, resemble something the Pet Shop Boys may have put out early in their career. I hope you enjoy my TuneCrush.
