Liz Queler is based in New York City, NY, has five albums under her belt, and has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Newport Folk Festival, with the Dallas Symphony, and countless other clubs and concert halls across the country. In 2006, her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Responding to the pain of watching her father’s dementia, Liz wrote a song to help with her healing process called, “Hallelujah (Sing For The Hope)”. Originally recorded with just her husband, Seth Farber, and their son, Joey, Liz wanted to add a choir to mix and invited fellow songwriters and vocalists to join in. The result is the video below. Taking it another step further, Liz set off to construct an online fund raising campaign, a “View-a-thon”, by posting a music video on YouTube and soliciting donations to sponsor hits wherein every view equals $1 donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
