The Insomniax – Love She Wants EP

London-based collective, The Insomniax, bring electronic R&B and hip-hop flavor with their latest set on the Earnest Endeavors imprint. Fans of the productions by The Foreign Exchange, I,Ced, and Philip Owusu will appreciate the direction of Love She Wants EP. Through seven tracks it’s designed to be hip-hop written from a woman’s perspective of a relationship. Not sure successful it is on that front, however it’s a solid presentation musically. What stands out best about this project is the lack of filler and it’s so nice to have hip-hop recordings that focus on the overall concept without a bunch of sideshows.
